This depends on the type of contract taken but usually you can either hand the car back, or extend the contract, however if this is a personal contract hire (PCH)there is no opportunity for you to own the vehicle you have leased, during or after the agreement. Yes. You may terminate the contract at any time before the due date but this may incur penalties. Contact Second City Leasing to request an early termination quotation.

To a nominated garage local to you. Vehicles must be serviced by an authorised agent for the specific make of car using OE parts, if not, you may invalidate your warranty.

You will be charged an excess charge based on a pence per mile, this varies from car to car. The excess mileage charge will be sent to you in the form of an invoice at the end of the contract.

A driver's pack is provided with every vehicle which explains fully how to treat every type of vehicle breakdown.

If the vehicle is on a Customer maintained contract, breakdowns are normally covered by the manufacturer for the first year, but on a fully maintained contract the vehicle would be supplied with full roadside assistance for the full term. Other types of contract vary, but will be covered in the first year by the manufacturer.

If your contract includes provision for Accident Services, support is available to help you 24 hours a day.

• Vehicle recovery and courtesy vehicle - If the vehicle cannot be driven, it will be taken to the nearest approved repairer or a secure storage area. If necessary, we can provide you with a hire vehicle which may incur additional costs to you. Alternatively, the repairer may provide a courtesy vehicle while your vehicle is being repaired.
• Incident Management -In the event of a road traffic collision, our specialists will assist with the completion of a report form and liaise with your insurers throughout the repair process.
• Quality repairs - Our Accident Services department uses a network of repairers throughout the UK which specialise in performing repairs quickly and to the highest standards.

Yes, all our vehicles come with the full UK manufacturer’s warranty.

Maintenance is an optional cost and includes all routine servicing, tyres, brakes, exhaust, battery and labour.

We offer free Driven UK mainland delivery.

Our contracts range from 24 to 60 months depending on the vehicle and contract chosen.

Whilst a minimum one payment in advance is available, normally an initial deposit of 3 monthly payments is required. Larger deposits can be used to reduce the monthly payment.

Yes, for 12 months. Then dependant on the type of Contract.

Where circumstances change and your predicted mileage is no longer realistic, rescheduling the mileage can be agreed on both contract hire and personal contract hire agreements.

No our standard contracts do not include insurance, you have to arrange your own fully comprehensive insurance on the vehicle. We do offer a product which includes insurance for Personal Contract Hire, however, this is subject to approval by the Finance company.

Yes, call 2 weeks in advance of your trip and request a European travel pack. It will include details of your breakdown service in Europe, a VE103 document and a letter authorising you to take the vehicle outside of the UK. When you call to request a travel pack, you'll be asked to provide the following information;

• Your registration number
• Exact dates the car will be out of the country
• Countries to be visited

Any maintenance costs incurred while the vehicle is out of the country are at your expense, however, if the contract is a fully maintained contract, reimbursements will be considered at the scale of repair charges applicable in the UK. You will be required to produce receipts and translated invoices within 28 days of any expenditure being incurred. Don't forget when travelling overseas it is recommended that you should take a touring kit of spare parts, a warning triangle and a first aid kit. In many countries these items are mandatory and must be supplied at your own expense.
